My Little Boy

Found this beautiful poem just now. It explains just how wonderful I feel every day!

My Little Boy

Running errands and talking on the phone
I am pleasantly reminded that I am not alone
Tiny little hands, a precious rounded knee,
Pushing and twisting that no one can see.
Oh, sweet child kicking up your heels
It is our little secret that only I can feel.
I look forward to your birth when I can kiss your skin
But for now I will just smile as I feel you play within.

New ultrasound!

We had another ultrasound on Friday. It was originally supposed to be a 4D version, but, unbeknownst to me and my regular OB, this office no longer did 4D due to insurance problems. Disappointed! But the girls were with us and were excited to see Simon, even if they thought he looked like "a bunch of bubbles"! 25 weeks - amazing! We are starting on Simon's room next week - can't wait! Here is a profile shot of our little man - I think he looks like Dave! The girls think he's blowing bubbles.

Sarah's Pre-K Graduation

Sarah graduated from Pre-K on May 27th. Below are some pics - the chapel was really dark so they didn't come out all that well, but her absolute cuteness comes shining through anyway!
You can't really tell from most of the pics, but she lost her first baby tooth the other day and she kept sticking her tongue through the little opening during the program - hilarious!! The last pic is with her teacher, Ms. Marsha.

Almost Six Months!

Well, I'm now one week away from being 6 months pregnant and Simon is really making his presence known!! He is kicking from morning til evening - constantly, it seems. This is going to be one active kid!
Sarah did the sweetest thing the other day. We were on the couch and she had her hand on my stomach trying to feel Simon kick when she looked at me and said "Cici, I'm so happy our family is getting bigger! I can't wait to be Simon's big sister!". The child just melts my heart!
