He's Finally Here!!

On Friday, October 3rd we welcomed the most beautiful baby boy into this world - Simon Malcomb Schwartz! He arrived at 7:55am, weighing in at 7 lbs, 8 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. He is absolutely perfect! I know all new parents say this of their own - but he really is!

I have heard other mothers say how much they fell in love with their child the minute they came into the world - well now I understand it! Simon is the most incredible little wonder I have ever encountered. Dave and I just stare at him for hours, it seems. We want to tell the world every time he makes a new face or a new sound!

Coming home with Simon has been quite an adjustment for our family, but we are making it well, I think. We have had the help and support of my wonderful family and that has made a huge difference! Mom and Michael, I can't ever thank you enough!

Second Baby Shower!

Last weekend was my baby shower/party with all my family and friends. It was wonderful to have so many people together in one room who loved us and were as excited about Simon's arrival as we are! We received tons of wonderful items for Simon. Can't wait to try all the clothes on him!! Everyone had a great time!
